The Silo Hotel offers a wide range of dining experiences in Cape Town. Executive Chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert and her team have crafted a number of casual and contemporary menus that include lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, bar snacks and a wonderful Sunday Roast. Chef Veronica believes in good, honest and approachable food that showcases seasonal, local ingredients.

Relax after work in The Willaston Bar and enjoy a selection of bar snacks. The Granary Café offers a more formal dining experience while The Silo Rooftop is the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail or a casual lunch.

Prior reservations are required in the Granary Café and on The Silo Rooftop.
No reservations are possible in The Willaston Bar.

The Willaston Bar

Situated on the sixth floor of the hotel, The Willaston Bar is named after the first ship to export grain from the original silo complex back in 1924.

With stunning views of Cape Town through the 5,5m high pillowed glass windows, there is no better place to enjoy a classic cocktail or a glass of wine from the carefully crafted and ever evolving list of local and international wines.

The Granary Café

The menu inherits the same comfortable, eclectic and contemporary style as Liz Biden’s hotel interiors.

Breakfast

From a delicious Eggs Benedict to simple soft boiled eggs served with Healey’s Cheddar soldiers, breakfasts at The Granary Café are the perfect way for resident hotel guests to start their day.

Lunch & Dinner

A short but diverse menu incorporating contemporary interpretations of many delicious grill house classics including beef tartare, prawn cocktail, steak frites and a fresh seafood bouillabaisse.

Sunday Roast

Our Sunday Roast is already a firm favourite among Capetonians. Choose from your choice of roast pork, beef and chicken.

The Silo Rooftop

The Silo Rooftop offers guests a relaxed and easy eating experience. Poolside lounging is complemented with treats from the tempura bar, fresh oysters, pulled pork sandwiches, and a selection of healthy snacks from our raw bar. Enjoy a glass of bubbly or a classic cocktail while you soak up the last of the day’s sunshine.

The Silo Rooftop is for hotel guests and is open to the public by prior reservation only. Kindly note that access to The Silo Rooftop is weather dependent.

Private Dining

The Silo Hotel brings a new dimension to dining in the city with our exclusive, glass fronted private dining rooms. There are two smaller dining rooms that seat six in each, as well as the Wisdom Room, a wonderful private dining room for up to 22 guests. The Wisdom Room was named after the last ship to ever take grain to Europe from the grain silo – MV Anangel Wisdom – in 1995.
