That means that whatever the season, the La Residence kitchen team always has a superb variety of fresh, local ingredients to work with. Working with artisanal local suppliers, they source the very best of everything from salad leaves to meat to cheese, and use these as the inspiration for their unique creations.
La Residence is the perfect place to enjoy anything from a delicious snack to a romantic dinner for two. With many different spots in which to eat, including al fresco picnics for long, lazy summer afternoons. The food offering – just like Liz Biden’s maximalist décor – combines contrasting and complementary elements to tell stories and surprise and delight you at every turn.

Afternoon Tea at La Residence

Surrounded by vineyards and the rugged mountains that define the Franschhoek valley, here at La Residence we’re very conscious of Nature’s rhythms and the cycle of the seasons.
Our Afternoon Tea offering is inspired by fresh, local, seasonal produce – click on the link below to see our current menu.
Afternoon Tea at La Residence costs R495 per person (for a minimum of two people) and includes a selection of four sweet and four savoury treats, water and a choice of one coffee/tea/juice per person. Gratuities and other beverages are excluded.
To confirm a booking, we require full payment (including a 12% service fee for groups of six or more). Please let us know about any specific dietary requirements when you make your reservation.

End the day with dinner and something special from our extensive wine list as you experience The Great Hall dining area at La Residence – a space which features glittering chandeliers, black and white Victorian tiles and inviting fireplaces, this is a diner’s dream.
