The Granary Café

Dining in The Granary Café is a unique experience. The menu inherits the same comfortable, eclectic and contemporary style as Liz Biden’s hotel interiors. Executive Chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert and her team believe in good, honest and approachable food that showcases seasonal, local ingredients.
From a delicious Eggs Benedict to simple soft boiled eggs, breakfasts at The Granary Café are the perfect way for resident hotel guests to start their day.
Lunch & Dinner
A short but diverse menu incorporating contemporary interpretations of classics as well as some of executive chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert’s own creations such as the Prawn Tagliatelle, Cape Seafood Curry, and a Root Vegetable Terrine.
The ideal end to the weekend, our Sunday Roast is a firm favourite among Capetonians. Everything on the set menu is brought to the table over four courses. Following a hearty soup of the day and a light starter, the main course of roast pork, beef, and chicken with traditional accompaniments is served sharing-style at the table. Each week our chef’s choose the finest cuts of meat, offering a uniqueness each week within the set menu. The feast is complete with a delicious dessert freshly prepared by our expert pastry chefs.
Sunday Roast is served on Sundays from 12.30 until 14:30 at R375 per person.
Enjoy our pastry chef’s selection of petit gateaux and exquisite teatime treats as well as a selection of savoury delights. Served daily from 2:30PM to 4PM. Bookings are essential.
Kindly note that 24 hours’ notice is required in order to prepare everything for the Royal Tea.
R325 per person for bookings up to 7 guests (the largest table we can accommodate in the Granary Café is for 7 guests).
