The Avela Foundation is a non-profit organisation committed to helping children with burn injuries on their road to physical and psychological recovery. The foundation was inspired by a brave young girl who showed tremendous courage in the face of adversity.
La Residence together with the Avela Foundation aims to support burn survivors by setting up a caring structure in the Franschhoek and surrounding area that is open to members of the community.
